John Gardner has been the Member for Morialta in the South Australian House of Assembly since 2010. He rose to prominence as Minister for Education (2018–2022), spearheading reforms such as moving Year 7 into secondary school, introducing phonics checks, and keeping schools open during COVID-19 with minimal disruption. In April 2022, he became Deputy Leader of the South Australian Liberal Party. |

Chair: Vin Padmanabham A committed Rotarian since 2009, he’s a member of the Rotary Club of Morialta and was president of Campbelltown Rotary during its milestone 50th, securing a Platinum Presidential Citation. His leadership reach extends across the district, as he has served as Membership Chair, Youth Service Chair for seven years, chaired the Learning & Development Committee, and acted as Assistant Rotary Coordinator for Zone 8 (2020–2023). Damian is currently the District Governor Nominee for Rotary District 9510, bringing a millennial’s fresh vision to the role. In his spare time, he’s a family man who loves running and camping along the Murray River, Secretary of the Athelstone Cricket Club, and actively supports school governing councils. With his blend of strategic acumen, community heart, and execution-focused leadership, Damian is a forward-thinking force in Adelaide, ready to inspire the next generation. |
