UPDATE: December 2022. We are moving forward again. Nine members and partners have returned from PNG.
 
Djuro; Past President Andrew and Anna; Geoff and Past President Judi; Past President Tim and Jill; Past President Bruno and Hua travelled to Pt Moresby for one week to meet up with our host Rotary Club in PNG for the Project - Rotary Club Pt Moresby and one of our donor Clubs - Rotary Club Boroko.
 
This was to make a video of the commencement of the Group 3 workshop, to undertake interviews with relevant stakeholders to the project for the evaluation which is being undertaken by Dr Helen Hall and Monash and Adelaide Universities. For Morialta members to meet with the 19 midwife buddies from Australia and many regions of PNG who will take part in the 5 day third workshop. To meet up with past buddies from the program to receive feedback on their progress. To attend the launch of the third workshop and receive guests including Rotarians, past Buddies, workshop participants, PNG Health Secretary and Health Minister, representatives of UNFPA, UNICEF and hospital senior management. Judi B will remain for the following 7 days as the Team Leader of the Workshop and Project. The Australian College of Midwives, as technical partners in the project will be following the workshop in their media including Facebook etc. Members also hope to undertake some sightseeing including the start of the Kokoda Trail which has just this week celebrated the 80th Anniversary.
