Athelstone School BBQs and Carpet (2023)

In October and November of 2022 and again in April 2023, the Rotary Club of Morialta Rotary conducted three BBQs at the Athelstone Schools during various events there.

 

During one of these events, our club was approached by the school enquiring as to whether we would be able to assist in any way with the replacement of the over 30 year old carpet in the School’s Wellbeing Centre. We were advised that the existing carpet was very dirty and unsuitable for continued use.

 

As the money raised from the BBQs came primarily from students, parents and grandparents of the school attending the events, we wanted to give back to the school community, by donating carpet tiles.  

 

On 23 June 2023, the school advised that the installation of the carpet tiles had been completed successfully.
