Rotary "Epic Day of Service"
May 16, 2026
The EPIC Day of Service 2026 will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, offering opportunities for community members to engage in meaningful service projects.
The EPIC Day of Service is an annual initiative organized by Rotary clubs worldwide, designed to unite Rotary Members and local communities in impactful service projects. The event encourages participants to address real community needs, strengthen social bonds, and inspire hope through hands-on activities. Projects can range from environmental cleanups and park improvements to supporting local families and organizing food drives.

The 2026 event is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, and is open to both Rotarians and non-Rotarian volunteers, emphasizing community involvement and collaboration. Past examples include filling food bags for children during school breaks and organizing park cleanups, which have successfully attracted large numbers of volunteers beyond the Rotary membership.
District 7890+1

Participation allows individuals to contribute their unique skills and efforts to create a lasting impact in their communities. The EPIC Day of Service also serves to raise public awareness of Rotary’s mission and inspire ongoing volunteerism. For more information or to get involved, interested participants can visit the official website at epicdayofservice.org.

Daniher's Drive for "Fight MND"
Oct 08, 2026 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM

This year one of our major fundraising events Daniher's Drive is heading to South Australia. Daniher's Drive is a charity drive that helps to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease. Founded by Australian of the year Neale Daniher we are in the 10th year of this event. I am reaching out to community organisations to help support with our community events. Specifically we are working on a fun community event at Athlestone Football Club, on the first day of our drive. We would love to have your Rotary Club involved in some way. The event itself will have some 180 participants from the drive and 100-200+ people from the local community. The event itself will be approx 10am - 11.15am.
